Rick Carter, Robert Stromberg & Kim Sinclair production designers and art director
RECENT SCORES: The trio shared Oscars, BAFTAs, ADG and Saturn awards for their work on "Avatar." Carter, Oscar-nominated for "Forrest Gump," and whose collaborations with Steven Spielberg ("A.I.," "Amistad") scored ADG nominations and an AFI production designer of the year nomination ("A.I."), was also up for a Saturn Award along with Stromberg (Oscar-nominated for "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World") for their work on "Avatar."
COMING UP: Carter recently finished Zack Snyder's "Sucker Punch", and has reteamed with Spielberg on "War Horse”. Stromberg worked on Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" and is vfx supervisor on the upcoming "Angel Camouflaged." Sinclair is in pre-production on Rob Cohen's "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," slated for a 2011 release, before beginning 2012's "The Wind in the Willows." Guy Hendrix Dyas: production designer
RECENT SCORES: The BAFTA and ADG-nominated designer earned critical acclaim for films such as "Elizabeth: The Golden Age," "Superman Returns" and "Agora." For his latest pic, "Inception," Dyas, used a massive catalog of images to create the film's elaborate imaginary landscapes. While some of the more ethereal environments incorporated vfx, "having a majority of practical sets and real locations to shoot in was important for Chris," said Dyas.
COMING UP: Dyas, who worked for Steven Spielberg on "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, is assisting the helmer on a new project.
Phil Ivey: production designer
RECENT SCORES: Standout look of "District 9" earned Ivey a BAFTA nom last year. Distinctive approach to production design won a DGA award for "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers." "I was heavily influenced by '70s cinema when I was a teenager growing up in the mid-'80s," he says. "Films like 'The Deer Hunter,' 'Taxi Driver' (and) 'Apocalypse Now' with strong narrative that weren't overpowered by over-designed sets."

JUNE 1, 2011 BULLETIN Angel Camouflaged wins Silver Medal for best use of music in a feature film at the prestigeous Park City Film Music Festival. May 20 – 30, 2011
A Brief Introduction to the Festival The Park City Film Music Festival is a new independent film festival, presenting film music competition for both INDIE and studio-sponsored films, a performance showcase for composers with seminars for composers, musicians, songwriters and groups. About the Festival The seventh annual PARK CITY FILM MUSIC FESTIVAL (PCFMF) will be held in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, May 20 - 30, 2011. This is the first film festival in the world singularly recognizing the contribution of composers and their music to film, and the first of such festivals in the Americas. Awards are given in the categories of Best Use of Music in Full-Length Feature Film, Best Use of Music in Documentary Film, and Best Use of Music in Short Film and, new this year, Best Performance/Experimental Music Film. The first major film festival to recognize film music as part of the awards lineup since 1985 is the Flanders International Film Festival - Ghent, which currently draws over 80,000 devotees. Film music, whose broad appeal continues to gain prominence in the music marketplace, has stood for a long time recognized only at the very highest levels: the Academy awards, the Emmys, the Grammys, and a few others. The growing stature of film music is exemplified in the announcement in 2005 of the Pulitzer prizes qualifying film music for the first time after over 60 years. The 2010 Film Festival has accepted over 200 qualifying entries which will vie for the top awards. Awards Announced 2011 Award Winners The 2011 Park City Film Music Festival is proud to announce the awards for the 8th Annual Best Impact of Music in Film Competition. The music in this year's competition again resulted in a number of ties for top awards. The Jury for the Festival would like to thank all the composers and filmmakers who submitted this year, and to congratulate all the composers and supervisors on their outstanding contributions to the art of filmmaking. Silver Medal for Excellence in Music for a Feature Film for the film ANGEL CAMOUFLAGED. Composers: John W. Morgan, Dilana / Director: R. Michael Givens

PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Free-Press-Release.com) August 1, 2010 -- Dilana Wins Best Actress Award for Angel Camouflaged Action on Film International Film Festival Honors. Dilana with Win for First Movie Role Pasadena, CA - Dilana, best known for her participation on CBS’ Rockstar Supernova, is thrilled to announce her win for Best Actress for Angel Camouflaged by the Action on Film International Film Festival.
“Angel Camouflaged”, directed by Michael Givens, includes an impressive cast including James Brolin, Warrick Grier (“The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior”), Carlos Bernard (TV’s “24”), Terry Serpico (“Army Wives”) and of course Dilana. In “Angel”, Dilana stars as Scottie, a singer who inherits a rundown bar and, with her somewhat less-than-reliable brother, Morgan (Warrick Grier), labors to revive the ramshackle tavern and rekindle her passion for music. The course of restoration will take some wholly unexpected and revelatory turns. For “Angel Camouflaged”, Dilana composed and performed nine songs for the soundtrack including “Sexaholic”, “Ice”, “Airplane” and “Slaves” to name a few.
“One of my favorite shoe designers, John Fluevog, has the quote “Run your race with perseverance and never give up”, in a pair of boots I own and love!,” comments Dilana. “Another quote by John D. Hess, "a race horse that can run a mile a few seconds faster is worth twice as much. That little extra proves to be the greatest value". I have been a race horse most of my life. Getting this award finally feels like all of my "little extras" along the way have actually paid off! If I had not hit rock bottom and tasted ALL the good and evil that life offers and checked myself into rehab 2 years ago, I would have never met the lady who made this all possible! Life is overflowing with surprises. I look forward to acting more, I really feel in my skin with it. Thank you AOF film festival! I am on a beautiful, pink, floating cloud and the view from up here is bitchin'!!”

Angel Camouflaged nominated for Best Feature Film in the 2011 Beauford International Film Festival
Angel Camouflaged was just nosed out by a military film for the Grand Award for Best Feature Film in the Beauford International Film Festival. During the showing, the management had to open up a second theater to accomodate the overflowing crowd in an amazing display of support for "Angel" which was the overwhelming popular choice. The thousands who crowded the two theaters left the mayor of Buford standing in the wings with no where to sit. Angel will be showing again in the Charleston International Film Festival which will be held next month.

In
a unique gesture, in order to keep our original family of investors from being
shut-out by the big studios (in the likelihood of a blockbuster hit), “Angel
Camouflaged” is offering its initial investors the first right of refusal for
the prequel and sequels of all future productions. The producer and management
of “Angel Camouflaged” and Cinema Island Productions is 100% behind this effort
to support our investors.
